I was told by some guy at bestbuy that my car had 6x8's all the way around. Turns out I need 5.25's in the back because I have a vert. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for speakers that provided good bass but nothing outrageously priced? Also, is it a good idea to wire the speakers to an amp, what benefits will I see from it? I know the Mach 460 system ran them so I am just curious. thanks

you will need to replace the deck to replace the speakers because of the woofers impedence.

quit getting audio advise at best buy. There are a few good people peppered in that company but they will hire a monkey if he could put the uniform on and pass out warrenty info slips....... If you don't know what you are looking for it is hard to tell the monkeys from the installers.
