Default New Speakers?

I want some new speakers that offer better sound and bass than the stock ones (just for the trunk speakers). Obviously I dont expect subs or anything but just something that's a little bit better than what the stock one's offer...
any suggestions?

except dont buy from bestbuy, millionbuy sells them for $50. Also check into alpine type s speakers, for the under $100 class i think they sound pretty decent. never listened to the pioneers though

True... although how much is the shipping cost? And how is/ good is the return policy? Just throwing it out there . Buying it in person from a retail store (imo) i think has its benefits.

Two days ago it sounded like a rock was in my rear speaker and bouncing everytime any bass happened.. so I thought maybe my speaker went out, then the sound went away after a day, but I still feel like getting some new speakers would be nice.

do you have the standard or upgraded stock system in the car now?

This will be the most important fact when replacing them.

Your local dealer will be able to help you select something that will fit and sound good. Do not forget to get an alarm as well as I do not feel sorry for people that get their stereo stolen when they did not get an alarm.

My car has the most basic system - the only thing I've done to it is taken the stock unit out and replaced it with a Shaker500

replaced the deck or the entire shaker system? Either way you just installed a grenade in your dash as it is only a matter or time till the changer locks up. I think ford programmed them to do this after it figures out it has your fav disks so you will have to replace them, I am sure it is some conspiracy between the music recording artists and ford but they always lock up.....
