Default ? for audio people

Im about to do my system and its time for subs. I listen to mostly rap and i want the most hard hitting bass possible. Do you think i should go with 2 alpine type r's or one Kicker L7 like this http://cgi.ebay.com/KICKER-S12L7-D4-...em120053387168.

i have a type r 15" in my truck, 2k max, 900rms, in a custom ported box, can't get any better than this for the money. its known all over that the type r hits harder and clearer than anything kicker has ever made.

One 12" done properly in a hatch back should be plenty. And I have always like the kicker solobarics.

I am selling 2 JL w3's that are 4 months old for 350+shipping. I have 3 in my car but I am selling 2 and keeping one cause it just to loud for my taste, but then again I only listen to rock.

Well you say you listen to mainly rap so I asume that unlike people that listen to mainly rock you like insane loud booming bass. If your plannin on goin with only 1 12 make sure it is a beast, like I am doin with my 3200 rms hifonics. Buy you don't have to go that extreme.

I have a single 10" Type R in my hatch and it is awesome. Even tho I don't really listen to rap, it bumps good for the occasional song... Anyways I would say if you got a 12" Type R in a bandpass box you would get PLENTY of boom for your buck.

I do listen to rap and rock, and my amp is turned up to 1/4 of the way and its loud as hell, the L7 is in a sealed box in the back of my current explorer. Just to give you an idea for the inc;osure and type of vehicle as well. the L7 hits pretty low as well
