Does anyone know why Ford decided to go with the raised rear spoiler delete "plug" on the trunk instead of a more discreet filler? Or is there a method to this madness?

There are no fillere plugs on the '08/09. There are many with the trunk wart which is the satelite radio antenna. Is this what you are referring to?
Are you saying there are delete plugs in a '01 Bullitt trunk lid to fill the holes and not a trunk lid with NO holes in it????
Why wouldn't Ford just use a deck lid that didn't have holes in it that they already have???

there was no 'delete' on bullitts. they came without holes in the trunk lid, im guessing if you have a bullitt with holes in the trunk, then some tard had a spoiler put on, then took it off, and plugged the holes.
