Jeff...When I was doing installation and repair for Southern Bell we carried every component for these (base, ringer, handset, housing and cords on our truck. If it was broken, we fixed it on site. That was back when service mattered. lol

I don't even know what HIFI is lol. and we didn't have a basement. and I'm 28

Edit: might have helped that, not only did we live a ways off the beaten path, but my Great Grandmother was 96 before she went into the nursing home, so I saw some of these things at her place.

A HIFI!


The one in my Grandparents basement was like this, but black with purple and silver speaker covers. The one we had was an eight track player too. The one with the big plastic lid.

No crew cut, always longer hair. Not Steve long though.

I thought it must have been something to keep your Butch shiny and slick. Definitely a good **** name.
