It's nasty looking out there. Not even 4wd is going to help with the crap that's out there.
I had to go get Jen last night at 5:30, she doesn't like driving in bad weather.

my boss doesn't close for anything. I swear a tornado could tear down our building and we'd be sitting in the parking lot with laptops still working.
I'm at home though, working from my laptop. It's not worth it to me. I don't need to risk wrecking to prove that I have a *****...lol

Yeah, pretty thick sleet here too. We got lucky though. It didn't really switch over to freezing rain in the Triangle until the very end and only a little bit. Doesn't even seem all that bad but it does with summer tires. Work from home day here too!

Lol, just got a company email to watch out for ice falling from the transmission lines. Steve went.out to the parking lot and said it was kinda creepy, you hear the high voltage lines humming, a little crackling noise and the a big bang when the ice hits people's cars. Glad mine is in the garage.
