Decided to go ahead and start this thread. Everything is getting busy with our other events and for some of us football as well.
Last year it was done in September. I don't know if we want to do this right before St. Jude, but waiting much longer it starts to get crowded and potentially slippery if we move into November. Other thing about September is scheduling for everyone on a short notice. This is one of the bigger, most enjoyable events we do so trying to work with everyone's scheduling is top priority.
Any proposed dates? September dates are 9/15, 9/22, and 9/29. I'm assuming the two weekends before and after 10/13 are out, so that leaves 10/27. I'd rather avoid November due to the weather and that typically the big trip is to VIR for charity laps in this month.
Thoughts?

I vote Sept. 29th. Not a whole lot of time to prepare but I would have a better chance of making it then than any other of the Sept. dates.
Steel Pony, we appreciate the invite. Just have to see what happens. I'll let you know if something works out. We were actually just in Gatlinburg last weekend. We rode up to Cades Cove and all over the mountain. Beautiful top-down weather. I gotta learn to start wearing a hat..lol. Sunburn on the top of your head isn't fun.

We might have waited a bit too long to get something together in September as is. November is fine with me, just have to be 11/3. I've got football games the next two weekends.

I am fine November too but i would prefer that we not plan it on the same weekend as the VIR laps.
September would be better though just in case Uncle Sam decides to send John after all.
