There should be a CTS (coolant Temp Sensor) somewhere. It might be on the radiator but it has to be in the coolant flow somewhere. Sometimes you can just unplug it and start the vehicle. If it runs the same when you unplug it, or doesn't throw a code then it's bad. But it can be checked with a VOM.
What about an EGR Valve?

hmm, that's possible but there's 45PSI at the rail.
CTS is new too. lol.

I'm not sure what's next, maybe a Wrangler or something since we're not too far from Uwharrie? then a 5.0 after Jen's car is paid off and Bryson is out on his own (off our insurance).

Looking around at CL now, prefer 4.0 w/auto so that Jen can drive it too.
