Yeah I have one Clint.
Alright crew, I got a message from my grandmother. The car is charging so the battery should be good by tomorrow if it has any juice left in it. We have to be super careful with the paint (cover the fenders) because apparently my uncle and a friend of his mixed up the paint for it and there isn't really a way to match it perfectly.
She said there is plenty of food if anyone else can make it by, and she wanted to thank everyone for helping out. I'm sure she'll tell you in person tomorrow, but she said that my Uncle Don will be smiling from ear to ear knowing that we are working to get his pride and joy back on the roads.
I'm going to pick up everything we need to get started working on it tonight and I'll grab the air filter and fuel filter ASAP in the morning since I'm not sure exactly what we'll need.

Is there a rhyme or reason to oils for an older muscle car like this? I was thinking a synthetic 15W-40 or something of that nature but I wasn't sure if there was a difference in requirements.

Synthetics in older vehicles can cause leaks from previously clogged passages. I probably wouldn't do anything better than a synthetic blend until the "status" of the motor can be determined. Whatever is specified, think my car is a 10w30-10w40, 5w also works.
