fuel filter, grease gun for suspension, sea foam, I know its obvious but I'm gonna say it, GAS, battery and/or battery charger

we can check it but might want to clean out the coolant system and put some fresh coolant in there.

What time are we starting this shindig? I'd like to get there at 8 because I need to be back here by 2.

I believe we have a battery charger but I guess another one wouldn't hurt. The one we were attempting to use was faulty but I think Alan said there was another one.

Would anyone who is coming mind bringing gas cans? I have a few but I can probably only carry 5 or 6 gallons max.

I'll add fuel filter, grease, and sea foam to the list!

There was a second battery charger on the shelf. It would be a good idea to get it on the charger early if possible, maybe for a while on Friday?

You might want to consider adding a "water remover" before you add a bunch of gas.
http://www.valvoline.com/products/co...water-remover/

Older cars had a petcock to drain the tank, but I think these had to be removed to drain them.

Mine has a plug on the bottom. might luck out. If not my plan was to disconnect the line and put some gas and cleaner in, pump it out, repeat a few times and then put the new filter in place and connect everything.

I can get the battery situation handled before we get to work.

Time wise, I was thinking 9 but 8 works as well. Try and have lunch ready by 12:00-12:30 sound good for everyone?

Also, will I have any trouble getting some of these parts? I realize all the fluids should be simple, but as far as filters and spark plugs, will I need to order anything since it's an older car? The Camaro forumers think that the valve seals may be rotted and broken. Should I look into replacements for those?

The valve seals are machine shop work, you'd have to take the heads off to get that fixed. Everything else should be in stock at one of the local stores. I have no issue getting consumable parts like that for mine, you can look it up online to see if it's in stock.

You're so lucky that JJ takes those comments so well. Hell, you're lucky that Jennie doesn't get offended and you end up missing... or your member ends up missing.

Belts and hoses, after sitting for so long they should probably be changed. Cheap insurance. I wouldn't be surprised to find some vacuum leaks when we get it started, but if we need any fuel or vacuum lines I'm sure there's a parts store within driving distance.

I can't remember, was that car an auto or a manual? If it's an auto you will want to add a filter and fluid for the trans as well.

To fix that, all I would have to do is remember....Why would this happen because I like her new hood? I don't get it....
