WOO! Back in a Stang. Pics inside
Well, after looking at many Piles of junk. Steve can testify to that. I had just about given up. I was actually looking at F-Body's last night (as a joke). I wasn't even going to look on Craigslist this morning but I decided to give it one last look. I was actually about to call on a sweet looking Foxbody coupe when this car popped up. It had been listed for 9 minutes when I sent it to JJ and said "I think this is the one". Called the seller and got the details on the car. Told him that I'd like to come see it. He was hesitant because "I don't like to drive it out in the rain" at that point I had a good feeling I would be bringing this one home. LOL.
All of these pics are ones he sent me because it's all nasty from the hour ride home but it's in my garage and I'm a happy camper.
Sorry Steve2stangsandalightning, the shift light is coming out.
Needs a real cold air intake but they're not very expensive for these cars.
Cloth seats which I was actually very happy about since the "leather" in these cars doesn't seem to age well at all.
Here's the ad which lists most of the mods.
It needs a few things but most of them minor. It does have a nice crack on the windshield that will be the first order of business. The door pockets are scratched up and missing paint and I don't think it has any front speakers at all which I already planned on replacing anyway. The boot around the shifter is down in the console so it lets in a lot of noise so I need to look into that.
Thanks to everyone for taking time to look at cars or ads and give your input. Love ya..but not like a man loves a woman.

Congrats!!! Man I'm jealous.... I bought my ex-wife a 2001 GT that color and then started modding it. I really like that body style.... Ended up putting a set of Eibach springs and some 2000 Cobra R wheels on it. MAN that car was sweet. With the exhaust I had on it, gear, CAI, and the wheels it was a LOT of fun to drive..... Until I put nitrous on it and blew it up on the Dyno. Oops.....
Anyway, congrats again! I really like it... Sounds like it was well taken care of!
And I don't blame you for taking the shift lite out....lol. There are many more stealth options!
