Well, it appears it's being sold as used instead of new because it was damaged in transport. Apparently the whole roof panel was replaced and they spent $600 in parts and $1500 in labor to fix it. He also said the guy didn't sound overly eager to negotiate on the price too much, so he told them he'd think about it and call back. So, the games begin...

well at least it wasnt the front end. The roof...as long as it looks good wouldnt be a problem for me....if he goes up there and talks straight up then i'm sure they could work out something.

You're probebly right, but since it's 2 hours away I think he wants to try to work out the deal in advance of going there. That's what I did with my car that I got in Atlanta and it worked out great. Even negotiated the trade of my Jeep.

Since everyone loves to do this run...maybe we need to make this a twice a year thing?...one in the spring and one in the fall. Maybe even find a different route to go for the spring one.
What yall think?

We did that one year for the dragon, it comes and goes, really can't predict everyone's schedules that we'll apparently. I mean even the retired folks find excuses to not come.

Think what we've found works best is someone starts a thread and then see who jumps in.
