Mid-pipe
What mid-pipe are you guys running I was thinking of going with a offroad x pipe, but someone told me their illegal in some areas. Is that true? Do you guys have them and do you have any trouble with the police?

It's not the police it's the state inspection. Off road pipe means no catalytic converters. It's an emissions thing. Just run and after market X or H pipe with high flow cats. This way you will avoid inspection problems and won't have to worry about "Exhaust Drone".

I was picking up a 2007 GT on friday, but things didn't work out with it. I'm just gonna go back to the 99 to 04 body style. We are searching for one tomorrow if were lucky we will have one by the end of the week. But I always like to plan ahead with my mods lol

Go ahead and go off road just plan on getting a tune. I'd save up and do headers at the same time IMO, just read the install instructions before hand. If you get BBK brand go ahead and get a flexible dipstick tube, $50 well spent. We messed around with it for 2 hours on Todd's car and still couldn't get it to fit. Flexible installed in 15 minutes.
