Default Wow just wow

When i bought my car i paid 2800 dollars and it came with a pair of NOS bumpers i immediately sold for 500 bucks, so i realistically paid 2300, my dad keep telling me that was still too much. because of the inner rockers being GONE

then last night he was discussing the car with someone in a bar who restores mustangs (if you are a subscriber on here let me know) and said he would have paid at least 6 grand, and would trade me a Fully Restored, pristine, rust free 68 fastback for mine the way it sits....

now half the reason i bought the car was for the experience that in my opinion is simply irreplaceable. but this trade seems almost too good to pass up, there has to be a catch....

what do you think

btw, i would never trade my car, im just thinking about what could be wrong with a deal like that other than it being a high optioned car and his car is (un)integral

thatch what i thought, possibly the number one thing wrong would be the half drunk guy in a bay who most likely doesn't even have a mustang.

Either something is terribly wrong with the fastback, or he really wants a convertible, which are valuable when restored. The only other thing I could think of is its a car from the unique auctions and therefore doesn't have a vin #

he did say something about he really wants a convertible, and it was sure as hell hard enough to find this one.

I say investigate it without getting your hopes up. If its legit, muster up 6 grand and buy it then flip it for some nice cash to put into your vert

I wouldn't get too excited, I have a bad feeling about this deal.
