Default Pick my new wheels, please

I'm cursed with being indecisive. I can't pick which new wheel I want to put on my car. Its a 67 C code that is candy apple red and down the road may end up a darker blue but that is far down the road. I am looking for an aluminum wheel, I don't want chrome. 15x7 225 60 15 or 16x7 225 50 16. This is my list that I am picking from right now, suggestions are welcome.

I am really looking for machined aluminum. If you can find some others please suggest

Since I was the first to post on the poll ....it looks like the vote is at 100% for the first option. Love that rim and they would look great on your car!

Just a quick question also, is there a point to go over 7 inch wide wheels in the rear on a 289 that will be mildly modified, nothing radical, just a H/C/I job or should I consider 8's in the rear? Or would I just be throwing away the ability to rotate my tires?

They all look great, but I am partial to the original Torq-Thrust wheels. BTW, they are cheaper from Summit Racing. Perhaps Newstalgia would match the Summit price?

After some research, it seems that you can rotate modern tires laterally, if they are kevlar and not rigid steel belts that will puncture the sidewall if rotation is reversed. Check with the manufacturer of the tires you plan to use/buy re: rotation, if that makes a dif in your wheel purchase. Most wear will be in the front, anyway.

Good Q about 7" vs 8". Can the performance difference be appreciated on a street car or is it just cosmetic? Hmmmm...

If you get a matching set of 4 wheels the same size, they will be easier to sell if you wnat to change them in the future.

I voted for the Torque Ds because they are the coolest.

Go with the 8" all around. You could probably fit 245's all the way around, but even a 225 will fit on an 8" rim.

I vote for the 3rd or 4th selection. I think you'll be happy with whatever you choose. I bet you probably have one your leaning towards though-go with that one.

Yeah that's what I was trying to find out, if it has no or negligible purpose I would rather not sacrifice having all the wheels match.

8's all around wouldn't be a bad idea, according to Dodgestangs chart I can put them on with 225 - 245 without a problem. I was just wondering if 8" are overkill or if it really matters between 7" and 8" widths.

I picked the vintage wheel works V40's, I like them the best, followed by the torq thrust D's. Go to the chop shop section and have someone photoshop the rims onto your car for a better idea
