Rusting In Peace....
I thought it would be fun to start a picture thread of first generation Mustangs which have been abandoned.
This '65 is on the side of US 72 in Huntsville, Alabama beside what appears to be an old abandoned shop or store of some type. I have saw this car on my trips into Huntsville for the past decade or so and Lord knows how long it has been sitting there. I would go ask the owners about the car but the compound behind the shop does NOT look like friendly territory and I am assumning it is not for sale since it is on a major highway and is still there. Post up any photos you have from your areas.
I wanted to get a closer pic of this car but I was afraid it had been placed by the roadside as "bait" in order to lure passing car buffs into the abandoned building :0

Get a bunch of your buddies, get a flat bed, go there in the middle of the night, ****** it up, then high-tail it out of there! LOL
Just kidding. It might be ok for a parts car, being that it's smashed up on the right front corner already.

Some of you Madison county folks need to journey up here to the Fyffe area and sneak into Ken Jolley's place. It is not public so you have to just sneak a look thru the fences. I managed to get in in the late nineties with his permission and counted SEVEN 32 Fords and a 1917 Maxwell Touring among hundreds of other cars from the teens to the sixties. Absolutely amazing place.

Sad thing is because it is an early Mustang it is just considered scrap iron in that shape BUT if it were a Duece or a '40 that would be considered a car with potential. I bet the 'Stangs reach that point someday

I poked in from the main page.
its a shame to see all that old Iron sitting like that.
I knew of a '55 Vicky that sat for 15 years under a tarp. a few years back sold for a grand
a '75 Mustang II that vansihed one day... I wanted it.. it was apart but complete for 500 bucks..
'72 Ranchero that sat next to the mustang... dunno what happened to it...
and at a ford dealership a few towns over there is a 65-66 thunderbird hardtop thats been sitting for decades...
