Default Anybody notice the new Camaro ads ...

... inundating this board?!? I swear, just about every page load seems to have one right now.

That said, always loved Mustangs, but if I had to go to the dealership tomorrow and get a new pony car ... damn, that's a lot of bang for the buck in that Camaro, but what a heavy pig.

Actually, I don't like it much. I like the newer retro style Mustangs better. However, I think the latest Stang is ugly. I don't know why they think all these new cars need to be so heavy. Thats why the need all the power to make them move.

If I had to go get a new Pony Car it'd be a Challenger, and then I'd tear the thing apart to convert it into a 'Cuda.

OR a new Charger and convert it into the 2 door version it SHOULD have been.

Yeah what were they thinking making it four door, I don't know when 4 door cars became so popular as sports cars...
it is just ridiculous. I do like the new camaro, but I also like the challenger a ton! There is one that is parked at my
apartments and it is awesome....

I like the Challenger and the Camaro, but it really doesn't matter, GM and Chrysler are done....

Since both companies are under government control/leadership I can officially declare them on life support but brain dead.

+1. Chrysler is gone. Not a doubt in my mind.

GM may make it, but it'll be a LOT of reorganizing and restructuring; and a lot of jobs lost.

Good job, Barry OBammy. Good job.

Eh, if I had to get a new pony car (well new to me at least) I'd just buy a Termi and then spend the rest of my cash on a KB for it.

I don't much care for the new Camaro to be honest.

The Challenger though...I've been caught drooling over those a few times, LOL!

If you are going to buy a new car with any kind of *****....better do it fast. "Barry" is talking about forcing the auto makers to make more fuel efficient / cleaner cars. My guess is in not so many years you won't be able to buy a new one with any kind of V8 motor. Just read an article about it this morning. Of course you could buy a new car then put a V8 in it but good luck passing the emissions test.....
