Default Eleanor from Gone in 60 seconds

Ok, so the original had a Mach 1... The remake had a GT500... Question I have is, was the body style that the Remake had already an existing thing BEFORE the movie, or was it a customized GT500 made Specifically for the movie and then took off because said movie?...

Made for the movie and then someone got a hold of the movie car and started making kits, or at least that is what I have heard.

I thought as much, but wasn't sure... It is a nice car, none-the-less. Thanks!

I honestly think it is overkill and almost looks like someone tried to make a Mustang into a "tuner" car. Its decent looking, but I wouldn't build one. The hood bulge looks weird. If I was going to have a custom hood it would have functional ram or or be a shaker hood or something. Secondly the added tuner style fog lights in the headlight buckets are out of place. It is a nice car, but a few things just don't look right to me.

It didn't exist before hand. It was made for the movie.

What? Foose designed the Eleanor kit?

I honestly don't like Foose stuff. I agree that he has talent, but his cars would look so much better if they were toned down just a bit. I also hate the 20+ size wheels that he puts on everything. I actually kinda like the Eleanor wheels.

I thought Foose just helped create the new 07' Mustang Eleanor kit.

Foose in general, doesn't like radical modifications that stand out and say LOOK AT ME IM DIFFERENT. He likes subtle changes that an average person would go, "That's how they look stock, wha'd you do?" And the people who KNOW says "Hey, that's different, but I like it!".

Rim's are rims, as long as they arn't over done. I don't have a problem with them. I just have the problem with the 4 door cadillacs and buicks with 25 inchers.

But Yea... If I did create the original, then I learn something new everyday.
