With that power level, I wouldn't bother with an 8.8, just go for a 9".

Go with the 9 inch, why limit yourself? Especially when you're planning 600 ponies right out of the gate.

trunk is loose in that last pic.

Well, she made it back home and I can say that I am extremely happy with the quality of work!!! I've started some reassembly and I can see the light at the end of the tunnel
