thinking of adding either flat black stripes or gun metal gray stripes to my 65 coupe. i am kinda 50/50 on what to do

What type of stripes, le mans? I don't really see the point of flat black stripes on a black car. It would be like ghost stripes I guess. I wouldn't do either to be honest. The only stripes that look good on coupes are the GT stripes and the C stripe that was more common on 67 68 but I have seen them on 65 66. I think if it is a clean black coupe then leave it be. Its the less is more thing. Besides it seems like too many of them have the stripes these days.

tx65 does have a point, too many coupes do have stripes now days. But for the sake of argument, I really do love black cars with gun metal or flat black stripes, I think it looks great. If it were me I would do like a gun metal GT stripe and leave it be.
