Default Help sway my new car decision.

I've been looking for and already tempted to buy a 71 Fastback (but the deal fell through cause the seller was a hack) but the longer I go without an old car the more I'm swayed back to a Nova.

I've already built 3 and is the only Chevy I want to ever own. I'm at the point that I don't want anything to do with GM and since buying my mustangs have grown to love fords. However, I can't help but think that novas are cheap, I know them inside and out, and this time with my new level of maturity and experience, I could build it from the ground up exactly the way I want with no sacrifices.

These are my ideas for what i'd want in a nova. I would be buying either body style. This is what I have to compare to a 65-73 fastback. (which you all know what they look like so no pictures are really needed) Either of the cars would be set up for a ProTouring concept and would see lots of twisties.

Hey go with what you want

I can't really decide which style I'd go with.

I'd go with the first one because it is a pretty unique style, but I'd go with the second one because it looks more like a Chevelle or a Malibu.

Ultimately I'd probably go with 4reboy's 71 Mach 1

Your choice really...

Early 70's nova's, late 60 Chevy's, and 70's Chrysler products are plentiful here. So I'm twice biased, Mustangs are not so common...

Man I like the Novas too. Its really up to you. If you would rather have a Nova then go that route. That red one is unique and looks sweet. The 70ish ones look more likd a muscle car though. I like them all. I say go with whatever you are the most enthusiastic about.
