horseshoe bumper guard
Does anyone know what a set of orginal 1965 mustang horseshoe bumper guard are worth? They have all installation hardware, Some overspray on them would clean up and some dry cracking on the white horseshoe.

I'm guessing he has these. I have no idea why anyone would want them, but they are unique like the hood ornament. I'm sure there are not very many of them around. If you found the right buyer, I bet they are worth more than a few bucks.

Available aftermarket for $53. Not sure how much of a premium someone would be willing to pay for a set made back in the 60's. Do they have a Ford part number or were they non-ford aftermarket part from the 60's?

Unique, I'll have to remember that next time my wife asks "How do you like this new dress." "Well honey, you look very unique in it."

I'm gonna say not much. Personally I think they are ugly but that aside they were never an 'option'. The rare options can be worth 1000s to the right person doing a concourse restoration however since these were simply aftermarket accessories don't hold your breath for much.
They might have been worth a bit more then the reproductions if someone really liked and wanted them because they were originals. Since they have some dry cracking I'd say you'd be lucky to get 50.00 for them.
eBay for 39.99 with a Buy It Now of 69.99 is what I'd do.
Nice find though.. I've never seen those before.
