Trying to post pics.
Hi All, My son and I are new to the site. Picked up a 68 coupe a few months ago to build for his daily driver. He's three years out from getting his license so we have time to rebuild. She's got a 200 straight six that's being rebuilt. We will tackle the rest. Our last project was a 70 bronco that took about three years to get her 90% done. The Mustang is like a walk in the park with all the room around the little 6.
Any how, I'm having trouble posting pictures. Can anyone offer some helpful tips.
Thanks!
Roy

The easiest way I found is to sign up for a free hosting site like photobucket, make seperate folders for different parts of the car - interior, engine, body repair, restoration progress, brakes, etc. and then upload your pics to the website into each file. The reason for the folders is to find things and if you move pics to different areas then the links break so pics you posted a month ago will disappear from the post if you move them in your photobucket folders and you'd have to remember to relink them.
To post the pics here from photobucket you just copy the link under the pic (direct link), then click the mountain symbol in the message header above in quick reply or go advanced and paste the link there, it will show up in the post.
I see you posted an avatar pic, similar to that just use the mountain pic to insert it in a message.

Jonk67 said it right. I see you posted up an album, but it's harder to get people to look at those pictures if you tell them "go to my gallery". Some people are just lazy. :P
Photobucket, tinypic, etc. are much easier to use.
You can do one thing. If you go to your gallery and open each individual picture you can right click on the picture and select "copy image location". Then put it in image code, which is: [img] insert link here [/~img] (remove ~ before posting)
For example, here are your pics:
Hope that helps. Sorry if it's confusing.
