I have a TCP rack. This one change made the biggest difference in how my car "feels". The car now turns instantly, without the hesitation of before. I also installed the TCP coil-over front suspension.

Installation was easy. Simple hand tools gets the job done.

There are many options to choose from, and I have not heard about any of them being bad. I believe that most of the time, you get what you pay for. The TCP rack is not cheap, but I am happy with it and would buy it again.

If you have any mods like headers, some fab time may be required to make it fit.

I see that Flaming river sells Headers that they Quarantee won't interfer with the rack. I was concerned about this as Headers are also on my purchase list. It looks like most of the Rack and Pinion Kits are priced the same Though. Any Brands I should stay away from?

If you go with FR, get the headers from them on the same order.
I'm happy with FR setup, but had to mod my headers to fit in spite of the extra parts they charged me for to go around them.

I don't see why not, as headers tend to go in weird directions compared to manifolds.

69Mach1377, What make of headers do you have, and what modifications did you have to make.

Hedman long tubes; one tube ended up about an inch from the pinion shaft, so it had to be rerouted.

I have a Unisteer on my 65, I cant see any headers hitting it since they have updated the design. $775 shipped from Summit and it made a big difference over my old worn out stock stuff.
