Purchased a curved Monte Carlo bar for my 65 I6 and it wont fit. What do I do with it? Too much hustle to return it. Grrrrrrr..

Where is the conflict - will it hit your air cleaner? Sorry, I don't think I've seen a monte carlo bar on an I6, so I can't picture where problem might be.

This is assuming that you're not suffering from the usual shock tower sag of a 40+ year old vehicle.

Yeah, why is it that it won't fit?

Nice picture reference, 200ci66. Thank you for posting. Clearly the air filter is not a problem!

Nice air filter, where did you buy it? PN#? Price?

http://www.carburetion.com/Weber/weberpartsair.asp

Not sure where my grandfather bought it, but here is a site listing them. The carb that is on there is a Weber 32/36 2bbl

in this image, it looks like the bar is re-positioned and new holes were drilled. can this be done?
