Default Acceleration Stuttering????

OK hey guys my names ashton, ive got a 66 mustang, 302 with a 600 cfm 4bbl edelbrock problem is sometimes, and not everytime but when i go to fully accelerate at a light itll rev up full and be going and half way through it seems like the carb stutters and will almost make a gargle noise until i let off the gas and then i can re apply pressure on the pedal and go fine.... but like i said its sometimes other times i can take off full speed and it goes with outh any problem, any thoughts?
