Default How will mid-eye leaf springs look on my car?

Hello everyone,

It's been awhile since I've done some posting, but it's nice to see the members that I recognize are still active! I was hoping to get some opinions on rear suspension before I place my order. I've already decided on 4 1/2 leafs, but I am going back and forth between standard eye or mid-eye. I've originally thought mid-eye but don't want the rear to be dropped too low, on the 69's a slight rake looks better IMO. My front suspension consists of the 620# 1" lowering spring and I did the shelby drop.

Here are some recent pics, will mid-eyes be perfect or should I go with the standard eye?

I'm sure I've said it before but will again. Love the look of your car. It sits great in these pics. I wouldn't want to see it get lower in the rear and up a tiny bit would be fine. I agree having the rear up slightly looks great.

Thanks for the compliments. Right now the car is still on lifter shackles (the first hole) with old springs, so I don't want to leave it exactly as is.

Do you all think the stiffer 4.5 leaf w/ standard eye leaf springs will keep the ride height just right then? looking for all opinions!

I'd do the 4.5s w/standard eye. It's tough to tell until its done though.

Heres another.. and if you really want to know you could bring your car up to Ramona this weekend and swap a rear wheen onto mine. Then see how it would sit in the rear on my car. Otherwise I could give you a really good deal on the original lowering spacers that came with my grande.
