I think just picked up a pace car ( coupe )

Default I think just picked up a pace car ( coupe )

I'm new to the classic mustang world. Looking for better ways to identify.

Runs and looks mostly original.
What's not:
-Air cleaner ( however original is stored in the trunk)
- valve covers
- starter relay.

It Has:
- blue stripes
- white exterior
-White interior with blue dash and blue carpet
- 260 v8
- auto trans
- power steering
- original wheel covers ( stored in the trunk)
- original radio
- original keys
- black plates

If it were real it will, or at least should have Pace car written on the core support.

I'm new to this website but uploaded them under photos not sure it was the right place. I don't have the car in my possession right now, but I'll look at the radiator support and manifold/engine block when I get to it, however I've heard it's kinda hard to see the "Pace Car" on the radiator support unless you strip it. ... I live in Northern California and the car is in Southern California.

Looks like it could be but I'm no expert. I thought the center stripe was an inch or two wider than the outer stripes on the pace cars.
