1968 Fastback restoration
As far as all the scrap metal, I'm putting it the back yard until all of the metal removal is complete (no neighbors to see) then I'll put it into the back of my pick-up an then take it to the scrap yard for a modest pay day.

It's been awhile but made some progress, I ordered a complete floor pan from Thoroughbred GT going to pick it up in Canfield Ohio next Tuesday, meanwhile I built a jig from 2x2 square tubing and added uprights for the hardpoints, rear spring hanger mounts, and on the front rails I connected to the steering bolts that are on the rails, I measured and re-measured everything, front to back, diagonally and sideways according to all the specs I could find. Now tomorrow I will use my plasma cutter and remove the old floor assembly and front torque boxs, then clean all area to make ready for the new floor. I will also weld braces in the door area front to back and across, also one across the rear wheel well area and the front side wall driver side to passenger side. This should hold everything square. I will then hang the body shell from my garage ceiling and roll the jig with the new floor under and slowly lower and massage the body back in place, check for level and square then tack and weld.
