Default Power brake mod?

I own a 66 with manual disk brakes in the front. I was wondering could i take a power booster off another car and make it work in my stang with little modification or what kind of mod would i need to do. I'm thinking of doing this to save $$$ maybe find somthing that would work at a slavage yard cheap.

you could probably get a junkyard booster to work, I think some of the Mustang parts are interchangeable with Falcon and Fairlane, you may be able to find one at a salvage yard. You may have to change your brake pedal, although I am not 100% certain of this.

I converted my 66 from manual drums to power front discs. I used a booster and master cylinder from an 86 mustang. There were fabrication issues. If i rememeber correctly i cut a plate to allow the booster/mc assembly to sit more horizontally. The trickiest part was the push rod from the brake pedal to the booster were different. I cut them both off and did a little transplanting using some threaded rod for some adjustability. It sure was worth it, the power discs are 10 times better than the manual drums.
