Thanks for your ideal.

We did go to Dupont paint dealer friday and they scanned the color and was able to make a paint sample but had know color listing or name for the color sample they blended for me. They were sorry that they could not help us in identifing the color. Note having a name to go with this color we will not be able to know just how many was built like this one car are how rare it may or maynot be.

The Dupont dealer did scan the car and was able to match the color, as far as being able to make us a sample, but the dealer said it was not a match to any car color in their data base.

1185 is a sequence number, the 1185th special order. I'm not sure if it's for that DSO only (72, San Jose), or if it's for all Mustang production for that year.

Thanks sdgrant for you input on the DSO 721185. We know that the car was ordered by the dealership because there was two mustangs with special colors on the show room floor of which one was ours, the other was a special green.
The Dealership was TIKE Decious Ford 1240 Park Ave. Chico Ca. 95928. They have been out of business a long time now. I would like a photo of the Dealership are any items from there if anyone has anything they would part with.
Thanks for everyones help.
Jim

Does anyone have a sample of "Whipped Cream" or of "Dandelion Yellow" that they would let us see??? We have not been able to find either of these colors. Our Marti report says our car color is "Wt1179", cream, but the car in no way looks cream to anyone that has seen it. There is too much of a green cast to it and it is a yellow, not a pale yellow you think of with a "cream" color. Take a look at the photos we have put on. What do you think.
Thanks for your help
Jim

I stumbled upon this page in my travels, perhaps the color you seek can be found within this book if you can locate one.

Thanks for your information. I wonder if anyone that reads this has the fleet book that they could look to see if the color code WT1179 is (Cream) and looks like my car.
Thanks
Jim
