Since I'm still running only lap belts on my 67 daily driver in front (sorry Glen...), the next $$$, after the wedding, will go towards adding a roll bar with a detachable cross-member (similar to the R-type bar), so that I can still use the back seat when needed.

So, what's your opinion - install (1) a friendly 3-point retractable belt system up front (with attaching point up on the roll bar), (2) a sleek 5-point Simpson racing harness system up front (likely to wrap-around the cross-member), or (3) BOTH, that is, tastefully and discretely have them both.

Since its a daily driver, I'd install the retractable 3point just for the ease of use.

As long as your not racing then go with the 3 point, if you are racing then go 5 point

I have a 65 DD and 5 point harnesses but for DD I only use 4 points cuz the crotch harness is only for racing Not only are they safe they look sick!

5-point takes more time, but is much safer than a 3-point...

well since your putting in a roll boll it sounds like you are going for race potential which leans me to say 5 point, but the daily driver says 3 point, I think you need to decide which way you want to go, daily driver, or racer and make your decision from there!

no matter what, you'll never regret 5 points, daily driver or racer.... you can always regret 3 points, they don't look as good, and they are not as fun....
