Default about to buy this car

well im thinkin its..... an I6 and idk if i want a 8 cylinder ive put this on here before.. he wants $5,000

Always hard to tell just form the pics, but it seems pretty solid. Needs some definate TLC but it doesn't look totally neglegted for 30 years.

Not too bad, but I think you could get a V8 in that shape for 5K.

Thats about a $3,500.00 car. Paint it and put in a V-8 the right way you'll have 12 or more in it

Looks good from the pics and interior. The cowl cover is a good clue that water is probably leaking into the interior and rusting up the floor pans (might explain the new interior to cover up the water damage). Be sure to look/ask about the rust and any water leakage. The owner might drop the price if you appear savy on such issues. Don't buy for $5K....get er down..way down.....good luck!!!

thanks for the help i am gonna tlk him down.. and he says he got the cowl cover cuz his friend said it prevents water leaks not because it had any

That's okay if you can talk him down a little and it's as solid as it looks in the pics but I think you'll be kicking yourself further down the road for not getting a V8 in the first place.
