Default drove my car for the fisrt time!!!!!!

Hey fellas!

I just drove my 1968 Mustang coupe GT something or another a whole......100 feet! it was awsome! it got deliverd to my house today, my mom whent to work and since about 8 this morning, i have been working on it, its 7:30 PM now as i type this, i was getting it drivable so that i could permeanatly make the back yard my work space, but, these darn things are to heavy to puch, so I had to get it to drive.

it had been sitting for a year, then auctioned, i won it, 2 weeks later it got to my house, worked on it all today getting it preped to start.... when the moment came to start it up, the entire family waited anxciously to hear her start up.... i turned the key....chug... chug VROOOOOM FISRT TRY turned right over! HAHAHAH BEST FEELING EVER!!!!!!

in moving the car i found that the radiator plumping has a massive leak somewhere, drained the entire engine and radiator in about 5 minutes! only leaks when it is running though...hmm any comments on that?

I LOVE MY CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats, the first time I drove my car fully restored with dual exaust I just about tossed in my pants

so the radiator is cracked? or it has a leak somewhere?

Fill it full of water and find the exact point of leak so we can help you out. If the radiator is cracked and its draining at that fast of a rate I would just replace it with a nice aluminum one

probably a hose somewhere, unless you mean the radiator. It's either a gasket, loose or split hose, or radiator leaks.

There is no telling where it is leaking. Fill up the radiator, and before starting the car, see if the rad is leaking. If not, then start it up and check the bottom hose and around the water pump. If not leaking, then wait until the thermostat opens and check the top hose.
Congrats on getting her started and moved to the back yard. Keep us posted about your progress.
