Newbie...with 1969 Grande ?'s
My husband and I just purchased a 1969 Mustang Grande and I have a few questions for those of you who know the history of them. Although it wasn't the fastback that we may have originally wanted, it was affordable and in pretty good original condition. So, we jumped in and bought it knowing that we would have a lot of sweat equity in store for us .
Does anyone know how many 69 Grande's are left out there? We were just wondering if it would be worth our time to keep it as original as possible or if we should do to it what we please? Any other information would be great, too!
Thanks!

Grande's are relatively rare. However, they aren't the most desirable model so value does suffer.
In the end, do with what you want. I like to keep mine in a state where I can restore it back to original if I so desired. But, would you?

Yep, I've got the VIN, the buck tag and the door sticker (if you are meaning the sticker on the door when you open it. I'll have to put them on here tomorrow and maybe someone has the info to match all the numbers. I already have decoded the info on the door and the vin....just don't know how many cars with each option were made.
Thanks for all the help!
Colorado Mustang-
Did you restore all of your interior or did you modify it? Just wondering because when I was checking the magazines and sites I've noticed that some Grande parts seem harder to find. Any advice on a good parts place for them?
Thanks!
