You don't get into 50 imbalance until the mid 80's.

The 289 flywheel will not work on the Cleveland??? I thought all smallblocks were interchangeable.

Anybody know for sure?? I have planned to put my 351 cleveland in my 66GT. I am going to bolt it up to the original trans using the stock bellhousing, flywheel, etc. Is there a reason the cleveland will not accept the 289 flywheel??

The 335 series small-block has nothing in common with the Windsor small-block. Except they are both small-blocks, anyway.

The 335 series is different, so the best way for you to be sure, is to try to put the 289 on the clevo and see if it bolts up. As long as it is 28.8 imbalance, and the bolts fit, and it has 57 teeth, it may work.
