Default Type Of Body Filler

okay....so im wonder if Bondo brand filler will be okay to use on my car....? (i have it at my house right now)

is there enough of a difference that i should order some filler from POR15 along with their self etching primer to go over filler and bare metal on my fender?

i would just use evercoat z grip filler as for using there self etching primer i would jst get some nason(dupont) acid etch primer or omni(ppg) then u have to use a regular sandable primer overtop (primer is not water proof it will absorb water if left exposed)

yeah, okay so you can get evercoat from eastwood.com if im not mistaken....correct????

and where do you get nason acid etch primer??? i know the shop my car is going to uses dupont paint so its prob the best choice....

and i should prob not even put sandable primer over the acid etching stuff....just let the body shop take it from there right???

haha...i dont think i have to worry about protection from moisture...my car is in the garage....i left the bare fender outside last night on accident and went back out the next moring and not even a hint of surface rust.....i love california.

Ive never used evercoat body filler but I can tell you there is a huge difference between
a qaulity body filler and Bondo brand. Ive been using Eurovoss and which is similar to the
Rage body fillers and It sands better and less clogging of the paper than Bondo brand. Just
an FYI On the last coat of filler I mix a little fiberglass resin which makes the filler more creamy
and have less pinholes.
