Default new gauge cluster

just some pics of what i got done so far, im sort of doing a 68 shelby look in my 66...

yeah im thinking of using a pearl pick gaurd plastic thats on guitars or just sheet metal. its a tough one because i cant bend the plastic into shape for the mounting brackets so it would take a little more to fab. to make it plastic

I would go with the sheetmetal. Easier to form. my girlfriends brother fabbed a polished dash in his 65 gto. Its a nice look. Good luck with it.

imo that looks a little too plain i like the pick guard idea also i have seen some nice fiberglass/pain work on ins clusters but to each his own cause i wanna do that to mine also but i will be a little more detail oriented

I dunno about that... It's a cool texture, but I think if used on a dash it might look kinda tacky. Its hard to find cars that have diamond plate in them that are used effectively as a design element.

haha yeah i wouldnt put dimond plate in anything that didnt off road... yeah ill be sure to post pics when im done
