Default Does this ebay car look fishie?

Hi all!
I know that he has it listed as a coupe. WRONG. What is up with the title? Other than a few issues does this car look to be worth 20K? It says it is inspected. What does that mean? Can I get the inspection report? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1966-...em130031571844
Thx, Walt

Walt, inspection means that it has passed the minumum state inspection for safety; ie. the brakes work, the lights work, the horn works, etc. You know the drill. It's just a damn clone that is certainly not worth near 20 grand.

The car has no export brace. He must have removed it so the master cylinder with the protruding booster would clear.

Look that car could sell for well over 40K if you get it for less that is a great deal. And what do you mean its not worth near 20K....you do know that if that was an original GT350 in that condition it would sell for well over 100K and your saying that Mint condition clone isnt worth over 20k?Im sorry but that is wrong lol no disrespect.and um your picture attachment is a red convertible but the listing is a black coupe. And i know that coup is worth some money.

Chase.

Do you really know that it is clean? Pictures are one thing, but in person a clone just turns my stomach. More time and money has gone into the looks of the car than the mechanical aspects. These guys are trailing off the originals as being expensive, and they are just basic fastback mustangs in sheeps' clothing. Would you buy this car for 20 grand? Hell, you could buy my 03 Mach1 for 20 grand. And, I guarantee you that you would be getting a whole lot more of a performance car that that clone.

If it comes with the dog, I'd say go for it!

I'd be more than a little concerned that the VIN has somehow disappeared. If you are really interested in it be sure to have it inspected first.

That car is FAR from mint. First there are ZERO pictures of the undercarriage, wouldn't you want to show off those "new" floor pans? Take a close look at the front valence, it is beat to death and the paint looks tired. That GT 350 stripe looks homemade and how do you know how well that front suspension was welded up? I also agree with Rob, I'm not buying the story on the replacement VIN. That car is worth alot closer to 10K than 20K. Gee, I wonder why there are no bidders.
