Paddy, that was funny as hell. How in the world did they do that? Old Slayer needs to learn how to play the Star Spangled Banner and The Stars and Stripes Forever. Maybe one of our wizards on here can make that happen.

Now that is one well tuned instrument!
Notice nobody in the crowd even got excited. Evereybody is just doing their job or mulling around.
For a group called "Team Spirit", you'd think they'd be dancing or something.

I think Winston Churchill may have sported a daisy on that one though.

funny points in the comments about an English Anthem played on a French car. Ironic?

Notice the guy on the laptop with what looks like a push button throttle control of some kind. I'm wondering if they have the throttle on the thing computer controlled to a music score sheet and thats how they get the tunes. Pretty funny....

Mojoe,

It a french car but alot of the people in F1 are british for a country with no mainstream car industry i find it odd that only renault and ferrari are based outside uk if i remember correctly. The warm up is done by the laptop program the guy is not probably just check data, it is frankly amazing what they can do with the laptop telementary in the race and they have got it to play the french anthem as well.
