What year 240sx? I got a red 1992 240SX SE in 1997 and sold it six years later. I didn't care for the suspension, had way too much body roll for me. I got it after I blew the engine in my RX7 (too many high rpm starts to see how fast I could get to 60 I guess) The 240sx was certainly a great looking car and pretty dependable as well, but I don't think that I ever went over 90 mph in it.

Fastest and favorite before my brother put it in a ditch was the '88 5.0 LX, that was 15 years ago. He wrecked fast enough to put a rock between the rim and the tire with the tire still inflated. Second place was my first 'Stang, a 5 color '67 I bought when I was in the Navy. Never knew how fast it went ( never fixed the speedo), but I would make a 200 mile drive home every weekend and I know it purred at about 70 and the only cars that passed me were the ones I let go. I remember keeping up with a GTO once and after I finally backed it down about 5 minutes later I passed him on the side of the road talking to one of his Hwy Patrol friends.

Favorite? eh, I have to say it was my 67 Galaxy 500 - 390 3 speed ( the three speed was kinda like the old power glide with the first 2 gears real close range and the 3rd a very high range for speed, manual trans ) That car got me thru highschool. Won lots of races too.

Fastest? My dad and I built a couple cars as I was finishing Highschool and entering College. We actually put a 300 hp 302 in a 72' Pinto. We used a rear end from a 70' Maverick and welded the spider gears. The car was not the most horse power, but the HP/weight ratio was silly and the car would scream.

We also built a 71 Cougar. It was more for the drag strip than street use, however, we did throw a license plate on it and tear the local streets up even though it was not street legal. My dad was an outlaw for the most part, he just said, it's not illeagle until you get cought. Which he did more than he got away. The Cougar sported a 351C behind a 4speed and 4.56 gears. THe Clevland was probably the first motor my dad went all out and spared no shorcuts. He spent all of our christmas money that year which just sent my mom over the hill and they eventually divorced right before I went into college.

favorite would be the 48 pontiac i've had for the last 15 years....... weighs as much as my first house but you can cruiose the interstate at 80 with 4 of your best freinds........fastest is 69 amx ex-wife wet herself once showing-off for some of her girlfreinds in parking lot where she worked....she never drove it again and i had to clean the mess....she took car when she left


my wife now said her fav. is her 65 stang and the fastest is a 69 cutlass that was always in need of rear tires

Fastest...thats easy too, but I have also always loved my dads '02 Lightning. It's amazing how quickly you can get 2 tons worth of car moving so quickly. And there is NOTHING quite like the sound of those eatons (terminator cobras included). screaaaaamin!!!

favorite? my one and only! (oh but not for long just wait till i get meh hands on some money!) fastest? my dads got a 05 GT nothing like sittin and hearin that mother truka. but im not sure which would win in a race that or the 427 aluminum block aluminum body (polished) 4 speed 65 shelby cobra (daul quads bishes) all original. that is the loudest street car ive ever heard and accelerates probably just as fast as the gt, not as gracefully (side ways! [8D]) but just as fast!

Favorite and quickest are the same: My '71. Top speed is limited by the redline. 3.80:1 gears, 245/50-16's, and a 6500 rpm redline...or about 130mph, give or take.

Fastest is my '03 GT. But it can't start closing on the '71 until after any legal speeds I'm around. It loses quickly in the 100 foot sprint...the '71 has about 10mph on it in that short space.
