Default sticking

HELP my thottle scicks when i push on the gass peddle why and how do i fix it

Your linkage may be slightly bent, or hanging up on the carb. Eyeball the linkage, and if you see a bend that shouldn't be there try to straighten it out. Spry some carb cleaner on all the linkage contact points and then follow up with some WD40 or silicon spray. Double cleck the return spring to make sure it is working.

ya well i think it is the return spring because i lost mine when i was replacing my intake manifold gaskets so i just went down to the hardware store and bought a new one.... i guessing it was wrong

You can order an accelerator return spring from just about any Mustang vendor.

You can also get the return spring from autozone in the help section. Mine was sicking any time a fkoored it sprayed some pb blaster on the pivit points of the bellcrank and hasn't done it since. I also have the double return spring from autozone.
