would it be possible to convert a Autolite 4100 for manual to automatic trans?
Just a question as there is a bargain here for a Autolite 4100 yet it is made for manual trans when my car is an auto...would the conversion be worth it or is it going to be a problem?

Its a four barrel Autolite 4100 carb but it was from a manual trans car. I need to know if conversion to use for an automatic is possible...how would that be done? or is not advisable?

The only diff i think is that there is no KICKdown lever. I dont think that lever can be added because the stanft is pressed in. -Jon
