so imma go up to advance auto parts and tell them to give me sum gaskets that arent cardboard. thanks for all the help again yall.

ok sorta wishing id just went to a shop to have this intake manifold put on bc now it stoped smoking out of the exhaust but right at the back of the engine oil is leaking not alot but enough to make my car start to smoke when i go down the road(thats how i fould out) But what should i do tighten the bolts summore? or what im out of ideas.

Be sure to torque the bolts to the correct torque and in the correct sequence.

no, dont go tightening down the bolts anymore, providing you torqued them down already to the right specs and in the right sequence. If you just go hit the bolts down some more you could be damaging your intake. Best thing to do is probably to take the manifold off, clean up all the mating surfaces, get a new gasket set, throw the corks away and use the proper RTV sealant, and have someone help you set it down on right. dont put the stuff on so thick that it will fall off into the gally,but dont put it on so thin that there are empty spaces on the crossovers either. dont rush the installation, take your time and you wont have to worry about it any longer. Trust me, i know from experience.
