Heater Core Help (I need this ASAP)
i am doing my heater core right this second and i want to completely remove my heater core but ther are two a/c lines connected to the box can i disconnect them in order to remove the box btw the system does have r12 in it and it has a decent charge but can i disconnect them or no or what i am askin is are the like a valve that i can remove on one side here are the pics

Not sure which year model you have, but it must be a later model if the air con hoses hook up there. By law, you cannot just disconnect those hoses and let the freon fly in the air. The EPA gets real excited about that sort of thing. Take it to a competent air con place and have them drain the freon for you. Are you sure those air con hoses are hooked up to your heater box. That doesn't even make sense, since they need to go to an evaporator.

its a 67 its all one assembly the ac unit is on top and the heater is on the bottome and this was a PITA to get out but i stopped for the night i reinforced the fiberglass and cleaned'r up good but i wish i could disconect those hoses so i could to the rest of the box
