Default Has anybody here ever tried to duplicate McQueen's Bullitt fastback?

If I had a fastback, I would do it in a second, Bullitt is one of my all time favorite movies, and Steve McQueen was one cool ****, it's a crying shame that he died so young.

But, in honor of the movie and DA man, I got myself a set of Torque Thrust D wheels, not the originals of course, but a close approximation at least.

Anybody?

Anyway, if you are planning to do so someday (in the future), here you go, make yourself a Bullitt ride:

I'd turn one into a McQueen car in a heartbeat. Too bad so many are being turned into Eleanors---yuck!

Easy enough to do since its only a highland green s code 390 with TTds.

Then put in an 8 speed transmission and a magical self repairing quarter panel and you are all done.

You mean like at the bottom of the sea? Them's fightin' words!
Or do you mean over-bored? Doubt it would make much visual difference.

Yeah, I agree, the coupe would look a little odd, I however did add TT D's, so in a small homage, I did.
