Default torque thrust D center caps

well on this nice monday (no school!!!) after driving my stang around for a few hours i took er home and decided to wash her. right as i was finishing up (detailing wheels) i noticed a crack in one of my center caps (right front) where the guy who put on my wheels had tightend the allen head too much, while cleaing around it, BAM that portion of the star broke off. im gettng new white letter tires soon so they will have to come off and now im going to replace those cheesy plastic caps that come with the torque thrusts. what do you guys like and why? where are the best prices youve seen? im thinking of getting just plain ones (brushed aluminum looking). Thanks guys just want some opinions and prices

Found a link, first picture they are the ones on the right, but set of 4 is almost 100 bucks! http://mustangdepot.com/OnLineCatalo...ts/vin-hub.htm

100 bucks just seems steep for 4 center caps.... of those i think the running horse one that looks like the fender emblem looks sharp

I've always been fond of the running horse also. But it is YOUR car.

this might help... i agree the center caps that come with the torque thrusts look good but they are chincy plastic.. one of mine cracked on the inside.. the running horse billet center caps are way to pricey but i said what the heck lol.

hmmm seems alot of yall like those horsies, and after a real pic i see why! im still partial to the plain but they look great none the less. a question for jamison, with the standard caps you had to remove them to get to the lugs and remove the wheel, the after market ones like yours look like they are notched out so that you can get a tool in there, is this correct? thanks!

I run the plain flat on my TTiis and on the TTds on the coupe
It's nice being able to get a socket on there without taking the crappy stock caps off.

I leave mine on, and I have those same caps.

I'd gladly sell my plastic ones to anyone that wants them...

I just got a set of TT D's, but I'll use those dinky plastic center caps until they brake, then I'll get those cool pony ones.
