yeah i do that too.. but i type fast.. lol.. often a book is emoted from my dyslexic fat fingers... your response is more indepth and still 100% correct..

more stall, and if he went to a 4000 lock up he could step up to a slightly bigger camshaft..lol.. A buddy does that with his LS1, 4200 stall and runs high 11s with only bolt ons. Small engines need more stall because they make the power upstairs.. Small being 400ci and less..

ever thought of a blow through system or putting the EFI back on and using a blower? The 274 works pretty good with a6psi blower..

i am going to get a 3500 - 3800 stall and it dont matter what type intake it is as long as it works, should i stay with the victor jr or get 1 with a matching rpm rang as my cam.

With a different intake, the 2500 stall would prob be enough.

Given the power numbers, I would recommend upgrading to a non-lock up setup when you get the new TC and a 1 peice input shaft. This will raise your cruising RPMs a little and also eliminate any lag when transitioning from cruise mode to no way you aint getting past me mode.

You have a good combo right now, change one thing a time to make measuarable gains. The higher stall will help the car move out better from a stop.

What is the infatuation with roasting tires....it only slows you down

You need to do a little more reading...non-lockup still has OD, OD is the 4 th gear in the tranny. non-lockup will generate a little more heat, but with a good cooling system this is not an issue.
