Beautiful project!
You couldn't have picked a better color (I may be just a little biased on this )
There is a gallery area that would be a great place to post some pictures.
A lot of us draw inspiration from completed projects such as yours.
Congratulations!

Sweet ride, love the color! Its different, but more people are going there now. Its a shame when "atypical" becomes ypical.. but yours looks better than most.. We just need a bit bigger pics. and most people post pics that are too large..lol.. try resizing them to around 650 to 750 pixles... That size works good on here.

Thanks for the commments and questions. This was my first car. I bought it when I was 17. I never dreamed I would be able to get it restored to this level. I have updated the gallery with some "before" pictures
Here are answers to your questions:
I chose the vinyl top bcause the contrast it offers ,The "pop" factor. This car is in a garage and will not be exposed to rain too much.
Modern radio= Classic Auto Sound with cassett and one speaker in the dash. My original AM radio was not functional. Not sexy ,but functional.
Engine= 302 with a eddelbrock carb#1405 basic flat tappet...This is a cruiser, not a racer. Therefore I have not bothered with HP or torque measurement.
Cost = $38k
226 hours of labor @$65=$14,690 in labor
Paint and body =$7,623
The balance is in parts (everthing from a 75 cent dooerknob Grommet to the $350 wood grain steering wheel)
Machine shop= $1,385 It started as an I6 resto so some of the machine shop $ was offset by the minor credit for the I6 block.
Here are some bigger pics.

I think vinyl looks very classy on a coupe. With a good contrast of colors, it really makes the car stand out.
As a comparison here is my convertible with the roof up.
