Beautiful car, however, I am not generally fond of Foose's design touches. I didn't like the hood stripes, huge speakers in package tray or the oversized rims. Thought the stripes were a little too much, I would prefer closer to stock. But, hey, if I was on the show I wouldn't be complaining.

yeah but tax would be killer, I was mainly commenting on the new engine for racing is producing, the msrp on the NEW boss 302 bare block is around 1700 just looked at the site.

1700 is cheap for a block. An aftermarket Pontiac block runs $3000 for iron and $4000 for aluminum. True they are full on race ready pieces, but you cant get anything else.

I am not fond of Foose and the big wheels thing. It just looks gaudy, I am glad my car wont be going in his shop any time soon. One of the benefits of living in BFE and being relatively unknown and poor..

yeah I know what you mean, the biggest I'm getting on my wheels is 15x7. and like I said 1700 for a bare block.. looks good like a deal to me, I'm still going to go for the 331 short block from CHP. I'd still be interested to know what the tax payoff for these "free" foose cars are going for.
I also have noticed more and more overhaulin' cars are looking better and better before they even hit the show?? the car last night didn't look all that bad to me, what happend to the junkers the show started off with??

I just read an article about the new BOSS block, and they said that, other than the 4 bolt mains and the name, it is not like the originals. Not that I have 1700 for a block, but if I did, I think I would wait to see what only time will tell about the quality and performance of the block. I am not really seen anything to impress me yet. For $1700 you could build a really nice 289, 302, 351 complete.
